The Gillette Soccer Club believes in continual education of not only our coaches, but also that of our players. Players have the opportunity to participate in training provided by individual seasoned coaches brought in from other areas of the US and internationally such as Brazil & England.
In summer 2018 we offered the traditional British Soccer Camp that has been popular in Gillette for years especially with the recreational and beginning soccer players or any players just wanting a fun week of soccer. Gillette College Pronghorn camps are a great option for club players. Several Edge teams travel annually to Laramie for the University of Wyoming team camp as well. Visiting coaches/university players offer individual and group camps in Gillette as well.
We also promote and encourage player participation in the Wyoming 307 & Olympic Development Program (ODP).
ODP & 307 provide players opportunities for further development & advancement.
Players have the opportunity for college, national exposure through tournaments and regional camp.
Referee Opportunities
We offer several training opportunities throughout the year for those twelve and over to attain their referee certificate. We only use official certified referees for our league and tournaments.
