Indoor season is upon us, and registration for 23/24 is currently open. We have moved to a new platform that will work in conjunction with GotSport which is used by Wyoming State Soccer Association. It is called PlayMetrics and has many great options for the Club. Here is a link to the registration page on PlayMetrics.
Once logged in pick one of the follow options:
1. Full Registration — $150.00 and includes 2 tournaments
2. Fall 2023 Player —- PRACTICE ONLY — No Charge but does not include any tournaments.
3. NON-Fall 2023 Player —- PRACTICE ONLY — $50 and does not include any tournaments. The fee is necessary for getting the player into all the appropriate systems for the state and making sure they are covered under the club insurance policy.
You will need to upload player photos, and birth certificates if you have a new player.
There is a mobile app available for both the Apple and Android platforms. Several notification options are available within the app as to what you would like to receive as it relates to your player account, and in the future, practice schedules, etc. Additional information regarding uniforms will be posted through PlayMetrics and on the Edge website!
Thank you and GO EDGE!!!

There are not many soccer athletes currently playing that can’t trace some piece of their experience to Lyle’s influence, whether that’s being coached by a player Lyle coached, or still coached by Lyle himself.
Lyle has been coaching soccer to Gillette kids since the 80s and has put 40 years into coaching soccer and life to Gillette athletes. The Gillette Edge wouldn’t be what it is today without Lyle, his family, and the tree of coaching and players he has left an imprint on. He continues to coach local athletes and mentor coaches to this day.
Thank you sir, you’ve affected the life of many kids and helped make soccer what it is now in the area. All that is good with youth sports is represented by Lyle Nannemann, and for that we cannot express our gratitude enough.
Hi! My name is Kara Damori. I have two amazing kids; Crew is 11 and Klaire is 9. Both have been playing Gillette Edge soccer since they were 6 years old. Since the beginning, I’ve been pretty involved with the Club and haven’t looked back! I am proud to be on the Gillette Soccer Club board and help continue to make this program a success. I also have a white german shepherd, his name is Gannett, I’m sure you’ll see him around the fields!
The Energy Capital Sports Complex hosted the first annual Equality State Championships last weekend during the Meyer Dana Orthodontic Classic. These games served as the states qualifying event for Farwest Regionals and PResidents’ cup which take place in June every year. Qualifying teams were those who placed first or second at last weekend’s events. U19 Gillette Edge Boys placed second while the U18 Gillette Edge Girls placed first.
Meet our Director of Coaching, Chris McMackin
Chris is a Gillette native and a member of one of the original Edge teams. His love of the game began at age 5, playing in the recreational league, and
continued to grow while playing for the Gillette Soccer Club. Being a member of the soccer club and playing competitively year after year ultimately lead to a State High School Championship and College opportunities. Once his competitive playing days were over he transitioned over to the coaching ranks and has been coaching for 20 plus years. Chris has coached everything from 4yr old rec to College soccer. He helped start Jr. High soccer in Wyoming, was a co-founder of the Wyo 307 programs, and revived the WY High school Soccer All-Star games after 25 years. Chris holds his National “D” Coaching License.
Chris also has a day-time job working as a mesh network and fleet management engineer for ESM (Eagle Specialty Materials). He is married to Misti and has three sons, AJ, Trafford, and Christian.
Chris’ goal as a coach is to instill the passion for the game of soccer and hopefully shape player’s lives in a positive way! His greatest reward isn’t all the wins, it’s knowing he’s made a difference in a player’s life.
